Something that will shock you
First a little of background information. Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application, with its signal processing part developed through a joint research project between the Pompeu Fabra University in Spain and the Yamaha Corporation. The software enables users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and melody. It uses synthesizing technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors or singers. To create a song, the user must input the melody and lyrics.
This program has different voices and characters simultaneously identify with the voices. The prorgram got a lot of succes that on the Internet you can find plenty of videos with these characters, drawn in animestyle
During August 2007 the sampler known as Hatsune Miku goes on sale, developed by Crypton Future Media. Where Hatsu means "first" Ne "sound" and Miku "the future " given as meaning "The first sound of the future. "
It was reported that at 12 days of leaving the product on sale were sold around three thousand units.
It was auch success, that there are thousands of videos of "she" on the internet playing different songs created by their fans. So to celebrate the second anniversary of the "birth" of Miku Hatsune Crypton Media executives, organized an event called "Mikufest09" which consisted on a live concert, where "she" sang.
To create the effect, there were used projections onto a transparent screen and with 3D animation programs they guve the characters volume, as if it where an hologram.

Primero un poco de información. Vocaloid es un programa de sintetizador de voz, capaz de cantar desarrollado por Yamaha Corporation. El software proporciona al usuario la capacidad de sintetizar canciones simplemente escribiendo la letra y la melodía.
Este programa cuenta con diferentes voces y al mismo tiempo personajes que se identifican con las voces. Tal fuel el exito de este programa que en internet se pueden encontrar infinidad de videos con estos personajes, dibujados en estilo anime.
