HRP-4C Japanese Robot


The HRP-4C is a humanoid japanese robot created by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology in Tokio. It was publicly demonstrated on March 16, 2009. It is 158 cm (5 feet, 2 inches) tall and weighs 43 kg (95 pounds) including battery.




It is capable of recognizing ambient sounds and, by using the vocal synthesizer Vocaloid, can sing. Her faces has 8 different motors that modify its silicon face being able to gesticulate and show various emotions.




In the most recent Digital Expo Content 2010, hosted by Japan, she danced and sang using Kaori Mochina´s voice, who is a famous japanese pop singer.
